SW and DF obviously spent a lot of time working out the new acquisitions rather than just getting bodies in. We did indeed have "one of the highest stats for creating chances (and the lowest for scoring)" and that has been addressed with the new arrivals. I wonder how much DF had to alter the style of play to suit Madders and to a lesser extent, Murphy. Hernandez and Leitner look better in the new approach and McLean looks good already. A key factor is how much Pukki and Rhodes can make the most of it. Marshall, Buendia and Passlack also seem well suited to a more direct attacking style, though the German games coming up should tell us more. I certainly feel a load more optimistic now.
That makes sense. He wouldn't get much playing time at CR and hopefully he'll get more than the 4 appearances he had at Cambridge. The SPL will be a step up as well.
So you are sitting there watching England's most important game in over 30 plus years and an hour in when the side is 1-0 you think Let's start a pointless argument about the E U on the internet ? For a joke, even though you and a few others upset yourselves on a Brexit thread on here resulting in people leaving . Yep, I guess I don't have a sense of humour.
You know my post was tongue-in-cheek, right? Not sure why I've been copied in, I've never posted anything about Brexit.
He may as well have started a discussion on the holocaust Just seems bizarre to post that 'joke' during last night's World cup semi final like he had nothing better to do. I was playing cricket for Banham v Garboldisham last night btw.
I see you are failing to understand the "Hart playing cricket" comment, he hadn't played for them in more than eleven (11) years
Can we PLEASE keep this thread on topic??? #hartishistory Edit - Hernandez played well in our last friendly prior to the squad heading to Germany
Dave I am 70yrs old Perhaps you should also respect my comments about a post which is turning into "playground antics" This is supposed to be a Football Site, not a platform for stupid childish name calling. Perhaps a ban on non football topics would help
From a mod perspective, every time this has been suggested there hasn't been an appetite for it. The userbase has wanted to be free to discuss whatever. Personally I'd rather have a "no politics" policy because those threads have a tendency to go south rapidly, but we've not had a lot of politics on here for a while thankfully. But yes, the more of us who can rise above petty name-calling, the better...
IMO, there has been a lot more harmony on here in recent weeks and let's hope it continues once the season kicks off. We're ALL entitled to voice our opinion - it IS a Forum after all.
No, people who do not agree with my point of view are obviously wrong, and seriously deluded. I am the font of all knowledge folks. Seriously, JMF is right, this site is far more harmonious than it has been for a while now. Politics and religion have no part to play on a football chat site in my opinion, these two topics will always lead to arguements and acrimony. Lets continue to be be harmonious.
What do you think of this FML??? I believe he has a release clause in the region of £15M in his contract. #bargain https://www.thisisanfield.com/2018/...-stoke-for-xherdan-shaqiri-medical-plans-set/
It was half time and I thought I’d check the Norwich forum. I made a joke, not expecting a massive snowflake like you would so hypersensitive. Sure sure blame me for people leaving. My god you’re a hypocritical twat. You’ve done your level best to chase me off this forum ever since. And, only the blind can deny, Brexit is now an amusing catastrophe and frankly Brexiteers only have themselves to blame for this shambles. I’m thoroughly enjoying it. No doubt they’ll claim “betrayal” and “stab in the back” but you’ll note they’ve done nothing to try to achieve their fantasy pipe dream. Because it was impossible. Now where’s my cake? Might as well get serious if I’m going to be blamed for it whether I’m joking or not.
