I love him because the majority of our summer signings credit him as one of the main reasons they came here. Due to that, if any are successful then that is partly due to HBA which makes me happy

He did play against them. 4 apps, one as a sub (Blackpool).

People are holding out far too much hope of him being a key player for us. He had talent in spades before he got crocked, whether he's still the player he was is unknown and the fact that he's constantly getting injured is further reason not to pin too much hope on him.

On the injury side I agree, but as for his quality class deserting him, I thought he ran things (from what I saw of the highlights) against Darlo and vision isn't related to fitness!

Still a start though. He did play against Stoke, he was on the left and got subbed mid second half for Jonas <ok>

I haven't seen any footage of him, is he still as quick as he was?

I know he has had ligament damage since then, but apparently in pre-season training he looked out of this world.

I just hope this second injury hasn't affected him mentally.

From what I could tell he played a far more central role, not neccessarily bombing on or beating people, but getting involved with everything, playing 1-2s and laying off little passes for people to shoot from...Looked good!

Sounds promising, I'll try not to get my hopes up too much, it's led to crushing disappointment twice already.

Came on as sub vs Stoke, remember his applause from fans. Started two, vs Everton and City.

He didn't stop running the whole of the time he was on the pitch at Darlo and you could tell he was always looking for something inventive to do.

Looked in good nick to me.
