Fresh reports from Italy that we’ve offered €60m plus €5m add ons for Alisson.

Player still wants Real but feels they won’t pay what Roma want.

I think if Real land Courtois, then Alisson is ours.

Still think it’s a lot of money for a keeper who has had one stand out season in Europe. Big risk, especially considering we still have John Achterberg as GK coach (where every keeer we have has regressed under)
 
I don’t mind Shaqiri. For approx £15m, I think it’s worth a punt. Experienced, versatile attacker, can play both flanks bags of ability - will provide a good option off the bench.

Means we can spend more on key areas - ie GK (Alisson) and CM (Fekir).

fekir to come in from for Milner but could play up top too. shaqiri as second sub on for mane imo

it all makes logical sense imo so is prob what will happen.

fabinho will need 3/6 months to settle in.

I think without the Real interest, he would definitely want to join us. I think he’s just waiting to see what real do first before deciding.

It’s not nice being second best but we’re up against Real.
