Karius' confidence is completely shot then. First game back (even a friendly) he needed to be solid and keep a clean sheet, no way back imo.

He's not ready mentally to be the goalkeeper of our club the pressure is killing him.

Klopp says Wilson is a finisher.

    Interesting comments.

Back up to salah would be an excellent outcome for his preseason wouldn't it.

He's parried one out in front of Tranmere player from a free when it should have been caught in the bread basket. Bounced out and the lad finished.

It is the sort of thing we've seen a lot of in the World Cup. Seems to be the modern way for goalkeepers i.e. parry not catch.

Not even worth arguing, would be shameful if we go into the season with Karius as keeper

He wasn’t trying to parry it. He tried to catch it into his body and it popped out.

    Pretty basic goalkeeping.

Feel for the guy, only 24 and has more pressure on him now than any player I can remember playing for Liverpool recently. Any small mistake is going to be huge news and real clangers are just going to add to that.

Techniclaly, he’s not the best keeper but being a keeper for lfc is probably just as, if not more important, to be mentally strong and I do think this will make of break his lfc career now.

I like Karius and thought he should be given another shot BUT the scrutiny on him is too much. Every little thing will be micro analysed and he won’t be able to escape it. It would take a super human effort to play without fear.

The rival fans haven't even started with him yet, we need a new keeper.
