We should congratulate England on a marvellous campaign (according to the pundits and media): Scraped a last minute victory against Tunisia Thrashed Panama, the only team in the tournament not to get a point Lost to Belgium Drew with Colombia (won on penalties) Beat a **** Swedish team Lost to Croatia Will probably lose to Belgium again.
The chances were there in the first half and England paid the price for not taking them. Croatia seemed to wake up after they equalised and from then on there was only going to be one winner. Well done Croatia. Pleased for you lot Time to move on to the Tour de France and the Open golf.
England have nothing to be ashamed of,,,They blew it in the first half where they should have been 3 - 0 to the good..But just as i said they put everything into the first half and blew themselves out and Croatia dominated after that and once they scored you knew they were the most likely team to score again.....Great effort and one game away from the final......France are nailed on for the cup imo but it won't be straight forward.....England will be treated as hero's when they come home and they have a bright future having the youngest team in the tournament and will be better prepared in 4 years time i reckon......
