    Yes, when Owners:
    a) Don't have the money to put in, or
    b) The Club is not making any profit, or
    c) The Club doesn't have the potential to make profit, or
    d) A combination of (a) to (c),

None of which apply to Ashley or NUFC.

I agree Mike could always do more but at least he’s being true to his word. That is what we demanded and that is what we’ve now got. I don’t like Rafa messing the club about. I have no doubt he fancied the Spain and Arsenal jobs. I bet the sticking point is we probably want the £6m release clause reinserted. He probably doesn’t. So what does he do? He releases through the press it’s because we won’t spend money. Guys a political animal and a bit of a weasel.

Point a) can be disregarded. He has no obligation despite the fans unrealistic expectations. Particularly when you issue death threats and threaten his daughter. Sorry that ship sailed quite some time ago.
Point b) the club does the best it can. It could do more and he will undoubtedly be trying to, but football is a difficult business. As all 92 chairman/owners will testify. Again you are speaking from never having walked a mile in their shoes and your arrogance is making you think you know. You don’t.

Other end of the stick mate, other end.

    (A) isn't to be disregarded as Ashley has the money to put in and has whereas others didn't and couldn't.

    (B) It's the Clubs who weren't making a profit that went belly up. We can and we have made a profit and hence a reason for sticking with it.

    (C) Ashley's bigger picture for NUFC re SD.

Try to stick to the points and not twist the words, it helps.

Anyway now having to get back to work and so my responses may slow down. Also have a football match to get psyched up for. Have to love you and leave you for now.

In fairness Martin Hardy states McLaren had to lookup who the **** Thauvin was and didn't want Mitro as his striker. Less of a **** up for McLown, it was one big transfer drive on players Carr felt would make profit, hence Bobby moncur on the 'board'.
Then, as you say, due to Mike's monumental cock-up falling in love with Graham Carr we had to overhaul the whole team at a profit.

    <laugh>
If I can just humour you for a second.......

Rafa or no, an owner witholding money because a manager won't sign a new contract is a buffoon and damaging the club through a lack of reinforcements. So basically the man's a cretin, as he would rather see the club flirt with relegation (again) than spend any more money on someone who is fulfilling the contract HE actually gave him. As the Great Mike once said "every penny the club gets"

Frankly, Mike needs to stop being a massive fanny and either sack Benitez or spend, ye?

I agree Mike should just sack the ****, his heart is clearly not in it. No point withholding funds trying to give the happy clappers what they want. You’re either on the team or you’re off it. If Rafa doesn’t want to be here any longer than the end of this year then pay up the remaining year and get someone in who is fully committed. You can’t put the cart before the horse like Rafa wants.

Ashley has already explained he has no liquid cash to put in and has no desire to after fans abused his family. We can all see that is fair enough.

Fair enough, if Ashley hasn't got the balls to put the money in he should atleast find the balls to sack him.
This, though, means the situation is really Ashley's fault seeing as it's his club

This is fair enough. But it’s different when it’s your asset. Fans aside we are also customers buying a product. That’s the way he sees it. Nufc go Ashley is basically a business and if you don’t invest wisely then it eventually goes arse of boobies. Look don’t get me wrong at the end of the day we look It differently to the way he does.

But I’m any case if the money is not there it is not there. Maybe we save money for next season by getting in loans we don’t necessarily need to see actual purchases and if loans are used wisely the money will be there next season.

He’s running it responsibly. We stayed up. He has done a great job over last 3 years bar selecting McClaren - who many fans thought was a good selection. The money has been provided in line with those we compete against, he is paying the manager a fortune. I realise he will never get praise, too much water under the bridge, but fans should realise their negativity only hurts the club.

It’s not about balls. It’s about not throwing good money after bad. Rafa is screening the fans over, and they are lubing his cock.

There is only one day tossed and it’s the manager. Openly sticking two fingers up at the club. Self serving ****.

I'd take Phil Foden from Man City on loan to give us some flair and creativity plus it would leave more money in the budget for a quality CF. I'd be disgusted if we spent 15m+ on that overrated lump Rondon, he only scored 7 goals in 37 games this season, he sucks and we need a much much better stiker.

Got no issue with lubing Rafa's cock, Groot and ACS tell me it's a good gig and, frankly, I'd get screened by Benitez any day of the week.

Would rather support a manager desperately trying to eke out every last bit of transfer money than a guy who daren't sack his manager because he's scared of paying less amount of millions than it cost to get rid of Barton.

Mike's a pussy lacking balls, it is what it is.
Don't worry though, I do condone your right to wind everyone up about it.

Can understand why players are offered a new contract before the previous one has ended, to try and retain some sell-on value but don't see any reason why Rafa should be accused of messing the club about by not yet agreeing to his. Rafa is contracted to manage the club for the next year.

    Ashley now has three choices:
    1) Continue saying we live on what we have in bank and run risk of Rafa moving on at end of contract
    2) Make a statement of intent and fund up-front purchases to allow us to push on from 10th place last year with a short-term loan that he takes back when we have the cash in place. That would probably commit Rafa to signing a new deal
    3) Replace Rafa now

If I was him and I had a 5-year goal for the club I would go with Option 2. Options 1) and 3) lead to periods of instability either 1 year down the line or immediately which could lead to significantly bigger cash consequences. If he really does want to sell the club think Option 2 would also be the most attractive to him as well. It should add to the club value and if he can get a buyer sorted means he can get his money back sooner rather than later.

The 'Rafa nay-sayers' favourite answer will be that it's just too financially risky, despite the obvious financial rewards attached to both remaining in the PL and keeping a good position this season.
They are the same ones proclaiming 1 season out the prem constitutes 2-3 years of barren purchases IN the prem and thats providing you go straight back up. But yeah, it's just too risky.
