Ahhh up against the old wall? I read that the council wouldn't be putting on a big screen for the semi. Not sure if they'll be showing it. I'm going to the pub to watch it with some work mates though so no bother.
I might be singing it tonight, as it goes. Even without beer... It's curry gnome, It's curry... Football's curry gnome
Made my post match curry already and will be refreshing my palate with liquid appetisers starting at about 5pm....
Southampton Council are completely useless. The new cultural quarter was purposely designed for this kind of thing.
Had all my mates messaging me all day about what pub to watch it in, now have about 4 options for the game and all I want to do is go home and order a curry and watch it on my sofa. **** it that is what I'm going to do
**** queueing up and then desperately searching for a decent spot in a pub afterwards having not got in!...
No, as I said before I enjoy the tournaments I just don't really support anyone. So I will watch as many of the games that interest me as I can, and obviously the semi final is a big game. If England lose or win tonight my feelings will be the same, I just hope it is a good game.
Sure, but it's more than that. It's all about seeing your friends, family, damn near the whole country with smiles on their faces and a bounce in their steps. This could be amazing for the entire nation, which is absolutely needed given the current socio-political climate. And just imagine the camaraderie between opposition fans at next season's games. Everyone will be singing about England together and sharing their 'where were you?' stories etc.
