    Stevens for me at times was disappointing last year. His concentration was a bit lapse at times sadly. I think he has another year in the Saints side but have my doubts as to whether he will be first choice as one of the back three. Moving him Forward may be his best chance as deep mid perhaps. To be honest I thought he would be further forward than he is, after coming through the academy. I wonder if the couple of seasons he had on loan actually helped him as much as it should have.

    At Swindon he didn't play at CB, he did indeed play in midfield looked comfortable ,but is was only against league 1 opposition.

    I'm unsure on Stephens, would probably have him down as our worst centre back of the ones from last season and with 2 new centre backs looking like arriving being the 5th/6th choice might not be ideal. Think him or Bednarek will go out on loan

    Agreed but Leicester got a very large lump of cash to reinvest. He wanted out so, overall, a good deal for the Foxes.

    I can see him becoming a forgotten man at Man City. That one season aside, I don't think he's good enough to get into the Man City team.

    Jack ain't doin' his chances much goodin China...... ball watching (again!) allowing goal scorer a free run in, on his inside (of a back three?); the shows his lack of defensive heading ability with a weak effort (out to the penalty spot) which set up the scorer of the 2nd equaliser!

    Nah, just the most likely candidate to make way for new defensive line up come the start of season. Just sayin'
    Oh and Armstrong provided a neat cross for Gabbi to score the first goal.... and with his head, no less! :afro:

    except for Yoshi, our CBs are young and none stand out as leaders, I have wanted Berti to play with 2 CBs for a while, he adds direction and a bit of speed, now we have target back maybe this would be an option
