We still have CHEIK TIOTE coming back this weekend! This guy has been a revelation in the same way as Carroll was. He's been an absolute rock for this team and has been key to our success thus far. Last night was painful to watch and all looked lost watching that performance, but I've woken up with new found sense of hope with Tiote coming back, protecting our back 4, breaking up attacks, winning the ball, giving the rest of our midfield a license to go forward and create more chances. I can't help but say that without Tiote this year, anything Carroll did would have been overshadowed by defeat after defeat. He's the unsung hero, and now he's back. We already have a pretty sound defence for the first time in years, and while we're all worried where our goals will come from, with Tiote back andd our solid defence keeping up the season they've had, we can be sure we're not going to concede too many either... We've always got a chance when that's the case!

Come on guys, Tiote, Ireland, Gosling, HBA, Shola, Raylor, Saylor all back in 6 weeks or less. Even if AC had still been here he would have been injured and the Shola situation would have been the same. First week in MArch we will be full strength and will have good additions in Ireland within 10 days or so.

Our team will be fine. We turned West Ham over with Shola and Carroll both missing. 3 more wins and we are safe. For the Baggies game to be a decider we would have to take 6 points from the next 39. Not in your wildest dreams will that happen. Blackpool are in free fall the same way Hull City did a few years back. Wigan, West Ham, Wolves, West Brom, Birmingham, Blackpool, all will be below us come May. Possibly Fulham (despite last night), Blackburn, Stoke and Everton also.

I have total faith and one poor performance doesn't make us a poor side. My prediction.......9th, great finish to the season with HBA having us all purring.

Just a shame Mr Nevile has retired, how good would it be if the game was won by a Neville own goal!! We can dream.....
