Please note that our Sky Bet Championship home fixture against Leeds United has been brought forward 24 hours and will now be played on Tuesday 2nd October (KO 7.45pm). The game was originally scheduled to take place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd October, however with Walton Street due to close to vehicular traffic earlier that day amidst preparations for Hull Fair, local authorities requested the fixture be brought forward in the interest of public safety and to avoid the potential for major traffic congestion in the area around the KCOM Stadium. Supporters should also note that the Walton Street Car Park will be closed for this fixture, as well as the home game against Middlesbrough on Saturday 29th September. In addition, and in the interest of public safety, there will be no pedestrian access across the car park on the above dates. Alternative pedestrian access routes to the stadium include the West Park gates further down Walton Street (next to the Airco Arena) and on Anlaby Road. In light of all of the above, supporters are advised to allow extra time for their journey to and from the stadium for these two fixtures, and to seek alternative parking or use public transport where possible.
I get the frustration, I use Walton St car park. This aint the club, it's the ****ing Fair and HCC. Luckily for them, the anger will be directed in the wrong direction though, as normal.
The club know Hull Fair comes around every year. They could request away days for the dates around the fair. The Allams are ****s. #AllamOut
Would they listen to that request though? Typical the fixture list comes up with 2 fixtures where there will be a large away following.
