Didn't watch England play Sweden as I was taking part in the English National motorbike rally. What was remarkable was from around 2.30 till 5.00 there was relatively little traffic on the roads and hardly a person on the streets. Made the riding more enjoyable. Lots of George cross flags on buildings and flag poles but not so many on cars and vans as I remember from other tournaments. I wonder if they will all be coming down on Thursday morning?
Not sure why that is remarkable. Stay at home, pub or club, watch a World Cup quarter final and enjoy a cool beer or six or go out on a hot and smelly bike wearing thick protective leathers and a sweaty helmet (On your head as opposed to having a sweaty helmet elsewhere) and risk getting knocked off by one of the few other vehicles venturing out on a very hot day. I think around 20 million plus will have done the former rather than the latter.

I think England will beat Croatia so hope to god either France or Belgium can pull their finger out. Both looked in decent nick after their quarter final wins.
Got to admit I've been surprised by England, looks like Morro has been teaching them on scoring at corners.
Trippier & Stirling have been immense.
Croatia will be hard but I would not bet against them.
Maguire is a poor mans Morrison!
Trippier for me has been their star player.
Have to disagree about Sterling though.
Croatia have some fine players but as a team not as cohesive as England.

Anyone other than the English dude.......whys that I hear you say.......well mainly because I've yet 2 know another nation that has effected us welsh in a negative way like the English have......im not if you've noticed but lots hate the English for the same reasons.

all that aside I do take people equally when I meet em and have a good few mates who are English by birth and ive told em its not thy fault so I forgive them 
..... fk me if you go back 150 years in my dads side of the family they came from Somerset so its not a race thing its a thing about the workings of the system that oppress us without any regard for our families or our futures 
..........but honestly in all seriousness what I will never ever except is the crown, the political system and lower standard of living through lower wages and low skilled work industries, the poor health system investment which leads 2 lower life expectancy
all governed by the London gentry and then handed 2 a fake welsh assembly 2 dish out the cuts 2 keep us down
