He is awful. Worst left back to ever play for us. He was only ever back up for when Bruno Berner got injured but he was so crap Nigel got Chris Powell out of retirement to play.

He is a liability and you could of should of done alot better

I will judge him when i see him in a city shirt, wasnt he about 18 when he was at the scruffy foxes? maybe hes improved as a player since, hence why the Palace fans rate him and they dont? just a thought.

Good call OR <ok> He'll surely get the chance to show us what he's all about and Man City have just given him a new contract so he must have something about him.

I think I speak for us all when I say I'm just happy to get a new left back in the door but we'll see eh...

I dont read this that he is a left back? his wiki page suggests he is a centre back that has played at left back. The fella is 6'2.

I have been reading all summer that we need a right sided CB?

I really hope this is not the only business today, that said I wont judge the boy until I have seen him give it a go, I was pretty underwelmed when I saw the signing of Steve Caulker until I saw him play.

Lets hope he is as good.

Never looked good at international level but somehow got a new contract at City!!! Could actually be developing into a decent enough player. How knows?

If he's so bad why have Manchester City given him a new contract???
We desperately need a left back - and he's one (he can play at centre half as well)
As another poster said, when we signed Caulker I was underwhelmed - then I saw him play!!
I'm looking forward to seeing the lad in a City shirt and I'll judge for myself

So his loan spell at Leicester did not go well (according to Leicester fans) - let's reserve judgement when he plays for our team - hard to tell on here if it's just bitter wumming or a genuine opinion. Don't want to sound pompous, but when those comments are littered with spelling mistakes and grammar issues (e.g "Know need ..."), I tend to think bitter wum.
