From my knowledge of retail customers, there will be whingy old men insisting on being served seconds before the store is due to close. They will turn up out of principle to do so. The words 'the customer is always right' will pass their lips....to which my reply was always 'they may always be right, but not necessarily correct'....did it for the sheer fun of watching them try to work that out.
