Have been on the gin over here. Pink Larios gin. No idea what the tonic was. Got completely spazzed on the stuff. Their measures here are ridiculous.
Sat in the darkness next to the pool drinking cans of amstel. Sprayed myself in repellant. Only place I didn’t spray was my hands and have just been bitten on the back of my hand.
I'm starting t get wound up about my appeal against my Final Formal warning . Date has been pushed back to Friday( with my agreement ) .
Usually reckoned to be about a double double, but varies from bar to bar. Drink too many at your peril!
When I was about 14 my parents went out for the evening so I being your classic LAD invited a couple of my mates round to get boozy using my parents drinks cupboard. I didn't want to touch any of the **** that was near the front as I assumed that they would notice so found this dusty bottle of gin at the back of the cupboard. We started playing **** drinking games we made up on the spot and pouring this gin into a pint glass filling about a third, the rest was just straight Ribena. A few hours later my parents returned to find all 4 of us basically paralytic in the kitchen. I found out little later that the bottle of gin was some bottle they had taken from my mums aunts house after she had died, she was given it at some point during the war and my great aunt was apparently a spy. Nobody had touched the stuff because they were unsure what it was or whether it was poisoned or some ****. I have never touched gin since.
Good story. I don't like gin. It's become a fashionable drink for some reason, tastes ****ing rank. My Mrs went to a ladies gin and presseco night a little while back, the twat! I just like dark rum. Not really fussed whether it's £10 a bottle or £100 A bottle. Hardly any difference anyway tbh.
I don't like gin and I can't stand tonic so G&T is like drinking devils jizz to me. Rum and vodka are pretty much the only spirits I will touch, but don't drink them all that often. Saw something the other day saying rum is going to become the new gin. I hope they meant in a fashion sense and not in the it tastes like **** sense
I can't say too much on here , but I have been advised NOT to get downhearted at this stage if the appeal is Rejected .
Probably in a fashion sence. ****ing weak minded ****s everywhere following trends. They'll start bringing out fancy rum for rich birds. The mugs will lap it up.
Rum can mix with most things but I don't see it taking off like Gin as it's not really a girls type of drink where they want the alcohol to be completely lost in the mixer.
You've got to mix G&T right, if it's too strong it does indeed taste rank. Cheap Gin is also ****e, as is cheap tonic. I don't happen upon Rum that often but when I've had it it is nice. I just doubt it has the refreshing allure of a large ice cold G&T on a hot evening. Vodka is stuff teenagers get as pissed as possible on when at school. It's vile and serves no other purpose.
