I hope the Aussies are a lot better at running a football club than they are at communications & spin. Their ham fisted & amateurish comms have ruined any hint of a feel good factor about them.

The Consortium is made up of people who have lives to lead and plan for just like we all do. All I gathered was it won't be very long (three or four weeks roughly) before those plans won't fit anymore with the take-over of CAFC. So a take-over by the Consortium will be before mid-August or probably not at all. That's it. I don't know if there will be a take-over or not, or exactly who is involved and who isn't, or anything else at all. I don't even know if the little bit of background information is right or not, it just seems to make sense to me. I'm well aware there have been dozens of dates set, deadlines passed, excuses given. I don't have a clue whether what I've said is any more relevant than anything that anybody else has ever said. Blimey, I wish I hadn't said anything now. All I want is for the take-over to happen soon, I'm not looking to gain anything myself if it does. If it turns out to be a good call credit will go to where it is due. Sorry if this has pissed anybody off. That was not my intention, though I seem to have developed a talent for it over the past few weeks. Come on England!
