Bert has said we have 6 bids currently tabled for players!! Whilst his info is sometimes questionable should we be happy with this fact if correct or, worried that we seem to be being held to ransom every time we show interest in a player?

I thinks its called covering your back. It shows determination to bring in a wide player and a striker. To cover yourself you make a bid for:

Maynard, Johnson and a Loan bid for the Yak or Townsend

Also make a bid for:

Kebbe and Gradel

If any fall through - hopefully others wont

The only player i'm not keen on is Andy Johnson.

Get 'em in Sven <ok>

What happens if all the bids are accepted? are we in the shight? might need two luxury coaches for away trips....
We cancel bids, like CMS <ok>

Rumour 6 is Nicky Maynard, Yakubu, Andy Johnson, Jimmy Kebe, Max Gradel and Andros Townsend
I'd take any of those tbh (and Beckford if we have bid again), but im betting 5/6 or 6/6 of these will be rejected.

Agreed I would like to see Beckford as well...... In fact ANY forward capable of hitting the onion bag about 20-25 times this season would now do for me.

Maynard> Beckford> Yakubu

I have never heard of Nikica Jelavic so i dont know. I dont want Andy Johnson

Rangers' top scorer last season. 19 in 27 games.

Signed for 4m last summer.

Scored 3 in 5 so far this season and is joint top goalscorer. He also has 2 assists.

He's fairly tall but agile, i'd say he is a better Rickie Lambert.

He'd be fantastic for us but 6.5m is steep.

Fourth official has just tweeted Ryan McGivern is signing for Bristol City. Now they have sorted (<laugh>) their defence out
