This water garden was far from miniscule. It had it's own 10ft (guess) wide stream running through it. However if vocal minority is right and a "sponsor" paid for it and continues to pay for its upkeep then I stand corrected. I would however have to wonder if said sponsor was a company that benefits from contracts with the NHS!!! i.e. favours and backscratching. Give us this contract at twice the price and we'll give you a water garden.
This was massive. Trees, a stream with a bridge over it. It wasn't a little square with park benches around the perimeter, and a fountain in the centre.
To be pedantic that money doesn't come from the NHS. It comes from the DWP. The NHS pays for their medicine and their appointments. And seeing as you have read my posts on this you will have noticed I complain about benefits being wasted on things like this when there are really needy people around. Not just throwing money at ADHD / ASD kids. Benefits overall are crazy high dependent on where you live. £20k here is decent. £20k in London is absolute poverty. And for info that cap doesn't include disability payments. So my "household's" benefits total £38k!!! tax free so you would have to earn a load more than that to take that home. No idea how much because I don't know what the tax codes are anymore. Left accountancy 20 years ago and I am self employed so don;t deal with tax codes. I would guess somewhere around £50k before tax. I do actually voluntarily pay NI contributions despite not having to and I don't claim the rebate on water / energy bills either.
No idea which one. The Garden was indoor and a floor below where they were filming from. Glass side to the balcony or walkway they were filming on so you could see it behind the interview.
Answered above. I don't know. Was just an interview on BBC news which doesn't seem to keep their newsfeed on iplayer.
Any of these? https://www.theguardian.com/healthc...2/seven-uks-healing-hospital-gardens-pictures The chase farm one seems to match your description?
The chase farm one looks similar but smaller and it is outside with walls around it (looked at different pictures) The one on the beeb they were on some sort of balcony or walkway that ran a storey above the garden which was indoors. The intimate detail is slowly disappearing I'm afraid because it was a short moment I sat down in between jobs and happened to be on the TV for those few minutes. So by next week it will be bigger than Chester Zoo with a lagoon and suspension bridge

That has to be a good thing all round, surely? May didn't have to sack him so she can't be accused of deliberately provoking the hardliners in her cabinet. And he appears to have been universally recognised, especially by his own dept, as an affable berk, inept and out of touch. So everyone wins, right? @ImpSaint ?
David Davis and Steve Baker have resigned from the Brexit department. Baker stating that No10 (May and Olly Robbins) marginalised the Brexit department. Just as with the General Election May has been a dictator on this. I'm not that big a fan of David Davis but I said months ago when people on here tried to say the 3 brexiteers had key roles (Boris, Davis, Fox) that they were in position with May deciding policy on herself. The only good thing about this (for you) is if you wanted a "no deal!!!" Because that is now where we are heading.
I also disagree with some of the things he's said but always thought he was (for a tory politician) fairly principled. The bollocks from both sides over the last 2-3 years has reduced me to actually wanting a no deal exit. At least we can get on, prepare for armageddon and not have to listen anymore to self-serving, fact distorting, rubbish from our pompous MPs.
