Going our way. I fancy a knackered Croatia Would be a better game than Russia. I think Russia might be easier but I'd worry about our supporters if we beat them
If I remember right this WC started a bit slow. Well it certainly is delivering now. What a show Another 4 yellows for Croatia and I rekon we can beat them. Russia would just be such an away match. But in truth I doubt it matters too much.
Yep. And my former band mates have got themselves a slot at the Bloodstock Festival this summer, winning a national "unsigned" band competition tonight.
Glad it is Croatia. Russia might be player for player a worse squad but home advantage was massive for them and I think they would have been detemined to beat England. The sides left are numbers 3,7,12 and 20 in world rankings. Given what has happened to the other top ranked countries I think any side left can beat any other. It will come down to attitude, concentration and preparation.
Leo agree with that. I think at times like this it is good to consider what the opposition are thinking. It''s all too easy to imagine the bad for the three lions. But I can't imagine Croatia are confident. They will look at: A keeper who gets better every game Kane looking to get one more goal and he will almost certainly be top scorer Goals coming from a number of players Sterling who will get that bit of luck very soon The delivery from dead balls of in particular Ashley No real weak links England having very few cards (cleared anyway but shows squad disciplin) and very good fitness/lack of injuries And I think your three needs "attitude, concentration and preparation" are all there. I reckon they'll target Henderson as he seems vunerable to conflict at times. But equally you can imagine Croatia finishing with less than 11 players on the field. That said their tally of yellows is now rubbed out so they have some scope to go in hard. England have now achieved beyond expectations. They return heroes regardless. Will that release of pressure help? Will they play with just a little more freedom? One other thought I have is that despite being an atheist it does seem written in the stars. I cannot imagine big Sam would have got us this far. I feel very confident about the semi. It could be that it really is coming home. It could be that someone has to do the little dance. It could be ...........
I do like your "despite being an atheist it does seem written in the stars" Are you trying to upset your religious friends BFS wouldn't have fitted on the plane out there.
i tried all the links but it was no 10 that worked for me then it loaded a vires and locked up the computer the wife had to bring the computer back to its 1st day but i got to see 80min LMAO
Brian yes it is a pain but I guess that's the price of watching unofficial streams The secret is to kill any new tabs as they pop up and before they download their javascript. A bit of nimble mouse click work. The freeze is a pain but I find my anti virus now kills that one. It used to be a pain but about 3 months ago it vanished. If the only solution was to restore to a previous state then first I'd make a restore point before going to ilivestream or whatever. I'd also try another virus checker. And unless your task manager is also blocked I'd try ending all the browser tasks. That normally kills it without the need for a restore . I reserve chrome for the stream (makes spotting new tabs easier), and firefox for anything else (like the bbc match stats and not606 of course). But I have my fingers crossed that you see the semi and the final in full. Of course it doesn't matter if you miss the 3rd 4th place play off - we won't be playing in that ps: Has there been much interest in the US or as they are not there is it a non event? Here in Spain it has gone very quiet like "What world cup??". But that said terrestial TV here has broadcast nearly every game live. But in the bars there is more interest in who Real will sell and buy. Natural I guess
Isn't there any kind of reaction against Real Madrid due to their tapping up the national manager when they did KC ?
Sadly Cologne, Spain is a very corrupt immoral place and such happenings are just accepted. And to many fans Barca and Real are more important than the national team. I think for the national side most see Spain as needing a total overhaul and that will take time. The Real supporters in my family are more interested in: attacking Barca over the possible purchase of a liver how their hero is being unfairly asked to pay an 18 million Euro fine and accept a 21 month prison sentence he will not need to serve. who they can buy with their millions of Euros (which came from where exactly? ) As you can imagine most Barca and Real fans are similar to Man U fans who live in Kent and couldn't tell you where Manchester is on a map There is hope however. I think I'm close to getting my step daughter to cheer 'Engerland' on
The problem here is the time difference -5hours most bars will not open till 4 and the Mexican food/bars only open at 11 .We was paying $250 per month for TV internet and home phone (without all the sports channels) We changed company and now its $130 per month. But with less sports Most of my mates are watching all the England games and a few of the others games so they can chat with me about them but most of the guys here will not care about our football. .My wife is the computer wiz kid telling me all that is like telling most of the USA about football LMAO
Brian you are very welcome to stay with us in Cadiz and try and convert the spanish troops. Sadly chance of success about zero or maybe less I once took the wife to an away game at Southampton. We lost 4-0. Not that the result led to a "nunca otra vez". She even met a few of the good folks from here but even them being super friendly didn't change here mind. No, I will remain the only 'orn in Cadiz. But at least Cadiz play in yellow so not all bad. But the 'orns can sit on the back burner for a while. Because it just could be coming home. I listened to that at least 4 times yesterday. The number increases day by day. I find myself humming it. Am I going mad
Mrs Cologne (who is really from there) has only been in one football stadium in her entire life and that was the Vic. So she thinks that is the biggest
