Nothing will top the glorious days of the 2002 World Cup where Poland had the Martin and Marcin Zewlakov in the team - because due to the R'lyehian pronunciation of the Polish language they weren't just fielding the Jerkoff brothers, but the Jerkoff twins.
Missed the Russia v Croatia match. The Obligatory celebrations following (and during) the England victory meant 19:30 (18:30 UK) bed time. Woke up at 09:00 this morning. COYengS!!!
Didn't miss much - turgid affair! Glad Croatia got through - especially after a hard battle, extra time and pens - as I don't think we'd have stood a prayer against Russia at SF stage....
So I assume the antics at Ikea Stratford after the QF were down to the : 1. store being far easier to visit for morons than the Edmonton store is 2. football supporter "catchment area" in that parish
Why would Ikea open a store in an area where people have trouble tying their shoelaces, let alone putting together flat-packed furniture?
On a similar note, thank you two separate neighbours for blaring out Three Lions in the middle of the night. I now hate David Baddiel even more than his ****wittery about how it's Spurs fans' fault that Chelsea fans keep singing about Auschwitz and the Holocaust...
The Croatia coach highlights Sterling as a major threat...... Focussing on his link with Harry Kane! WTF!! 'Croatia wary of Sterling threat ' http://www.skysports.com/share/11430628 If you ever wanted verification that Sterling needs to be benched, this is it
I think the following are both true: There are more Spurs players left in the World Cup than from any other club. Spurs players have scored more goals than those from any other club. Pretty amazing.
I'm convinced Sterling is picked because he doesn't know what the hell he is doing. This way he messes up the opposition as well. They think he does! Let's call him "Southgate's secret weapon"!!!!!!?
