    I think most fans are clinically insane and understand virtually nothing about what they are witnessing on the pitch. This applies equally to most pundits, even those who have played at the very highest level themselves.

    As for Long's effect on defenders - he pulls defences out of position, which creates opportunities for others to score. Unfortunately last season, no one did, much. But that's not his fault.

    That should free up some salary cash. Had such high hopes when he joined but never looked comfortable playing in the EPL.

    If his only (or main contribution) is to pull defenders out of position, then more fool us as others in the team also have that role and responsibility. His role is to also create chances and score goals. With which he clearly fails.

    Rumours circulating about Gabbi returning to Italy....I don't want to lose our little tramp<wah> So he doesn't score many...he's right at home here then....and he does score important ones. And he eats plain spaghetti for breakfast according to the China video...so completely bonkers...absolutely made for us.

    That would also leave us short of attacking quality up front. And he is quality even if the club haven't managed to get the best out of him. Its not just down to him imo.

    Yep, Gabbi is class, just look at his technique for some of the goals he scored, he's just not a target man, needs to be played with support..
