Yes, there was a bit of a comedy element to that one, despite the danger. A sort of Keystone Cops moment.
Yeah the driver was fine in that one, the only risk was for the camera man who almost got clouted by a wheel. Hartley got a bit of a battering in this one.
just got a feeling about this gp. something is going to happen. extreme speed. high temps. competitive championship. there could be some4hing big.. good or bad here. tyres under huge pressure here. cars under huge pressure. extreme speed and old school track... someone could have a big off and equally the track could be just the ticket for a sensational race.
I was in the stands at luffield when this happened. We were extremely worried for a moment but so happy when he got out and walked away.
Really close top three. Ferrari have the faster car but Hamilton's raw speed got the pole yesterday. Kimi was on for a good lap, as usual lost time somewhere. Will be very tight tomorrow, similar to Austria with the blistering tyres. Last of the triple header, hope it's a fun one.
After watching the C4 Lewis vs Seb lap I would say Ferrari is definitely the faster car be that from PU or aero. It does seem that lewis is gaining the losses back on the brakes. So it will be very close I think. Hopefully a great race with lots of battles and not too many tyre issues spoiling things.
Did anyone else notice when the 'UK' and Silverstone stats came up it said first UK GP at Silverstone in 1950. Then Celebrating 70 years of GP/F1!! Surely 1950 to 2018 is 68 years not 70?
Think Lewis needs to stick to 1 stop as he doesn't have and new softs left. Seb has 1 new set left so could do 2 stops!!!!! Going to be interesting.... Hopefully anyway.
