I would have loved it last year but not when we drew Vitesse as it would have been a bit of a come down if our first European tie for years was a team from this island.

The little magician has cranked up the pressure on Sampaoli.

It's a disgrace. Not having prepared for the match knowing that Iceland are all 1.90m tall, -the 1986 World Cup winner told Venezuelan television. Jorge Sampaoli can't come back to Argentina playing like that.

I'm scared for Jorge now! <yikes>

He will be charged with 95 counts of manslaughter. The 96th victim Tony Bland can’t be included as his death was more than a year and a day after his injuries were inflicted.

Former Sheffield Wednesday club secretary Graham Mackrell is charged with health and safety, and safety at sports grounds offences.

The trial of Mr Duckenfield and Mr Mackrell is currently listed to start on 10 September.

Former solicitor Peter Metcalf and former police officers Donald Denton and Alan Foster are scheduled to go on trial in January 2019 charged with perverting the course of justice.

A hearing to determine whether former Chief Constable Sir Norman Bettison will be tried has been adjourned until August.

I know a player who has knocked back Sunderland who offered him 3 grand a week, and joined a `less fashionable` Championship club for 4 grand a week. Sunderland have only just got rid of Jack Rodwell who was on 20 times 3 grand for doing literally nothing. Puts things in perspective.

Looks like I might be going to the Grand Prix on Sunday. My sisters and I bought my Dad two tickets for his 70th birthday and arranged for his mate to come up with him as a surprise. (Tickets were a surprise too). My sister phoned my Dad’s mate this evening to confirm collection time tomorrow and he said he has other plans!!! :emoticon-0121-angry We told him months back and told him to put it in his diary (he did). We’ve had to ring and tell me Dad so we can get him to check if any other mates can go at Short noticed and that’s not looking good.

That leaves us with a £300 ticket! So, i’ll Probably have to go and pay my sisters the ticket money. Excited to be going, but shouldn’t really be paying that out!

Bloody frustrating and pissed off with Dad’s mate :( Bloody rude.

Your Dad will have a great time going with you. Enjoy it. What's money compared with quality time with your Dad? Enjoy.

You’re right Fran, but it feels like the edge taken off the surprise and day for Dad.

Newsflash! The wife is going with my Dad. She loves the F1 a little bit more than me and after a few weeks of non-stop football on the television, I thought she might appreciate it. She’s is chuffed to bits!

    Happy wife. Happy life.
