Must say I wasn't massively impressed by Tyldesley and Hoddle on England games - until I heard Mowbray and Keown. Just moronically trivial and barely any analysis. Ended up listening to the excellent John Murray on Radio 5 while watching on TV.

When ITV have used Gary Neville on co-commentary, he’s been brilliant. He’s in a different league to the other ones both channels are using. Daniel Mann and Bill Leslie at Sky are two modern commentators who are excellent. There’s probably a stream somewhere with Martin Tyler on commentary for the England games as he’s covering the competition for SBS.
