That is strange…didn’t West Ham bid 2.5 just under a month ago. The only thing I can think of is Sven knows Bates will be desperate to sell Gradel because he only has 1 year left in his contract (and by his recent comments) doesn’t appear that he has any intention to stay at Leeds beyond a year. With nearly 24 hours left to sell – perhaps Sven thought they may simply admit defeat a sell?
