Nobody really stood out in the group games with the exception of Trippier. In the knockouts you've got to give it to Maguire, Pickford and Henderson with Trippier still doing a great job.
Pickford, the keeper we should have signed. Great performance today and we need a decent keeper before the season starts
Semi final. Far better than anyone predicted. Today was very very comfortable. Maguire was very good, Pickford some great saves to be fair and Hendo did what he’s done all tournament which is great to see. For all this talk on hendo I think he’s creates more clear cut chances in this tournament than any other England player. His pass over the top for sterling was brilliant and didn’t st any praise, of that was iniesta would be racing about it. Kane didn’t do much today but good to see others chip in. Sterling again was poor. Decision making for England just seems non existent. Ali was again very poor. Decent header, even if keeper fell backwards instead of standing still, but gave the ball away so often. Sweden luckily didn’t offer any threat bar crosses, Russia if they get through will be the same I think.
