    Ok, well done England job done, still not played anyone of any quality and actually beaten them, but can only beat what is in front of you. Still think if Southgate persists with playing Sterling, may bite him on the arse has been the worst player in every game he has played.

    Right can someone explain to me what the **** is coming home, it cant be the World cup because it belongs everywhere apart from England and if they mean football well call me old fashioned, it has been home for year on year on year. The arrogance of that statement sums England up.

    I just don't get the statement everyone is using, It is something that they have locked onto to that means absolutely **** all. Only in England can they be arrogant to think they own it, what it is I am still trying to work out.

    I didn’t expect us to beat Liverpool & Arsenal at home last season either.... <cheers>

    What a fantastic display by the whole England team...:emoticon-0137-clapp:emoticon-0137-clapp:emoticon-0137-clapp Into the Semis they go and i dont think they care which of tonight's team gets through as they have the players to beat them......Congratulations to Martinez boys also for getting through to the semi's and i hope both teams reach the final in 8 days time.......England will win that this time like they could have done if they wanted to last time......England look cool and confident and have the best chance since 1970 to win the WC....:1980_boogie_down::emoticon-0148-yes:

    I agree Dai - they have their best chance since 1970 when Ramsey (stupidly in hindsight) took off Charlton to rest him for the semi-final, with the result that it released Beckanbauer who caused havoc with the freedom that he then found himself with.....

    That said, I doubt that they’d have beaten Pele’s Brazil who were magnificent - but you never know!

    I would love Croatia to play Belgium in the final. But nailed on France v England. for those who reckon the world cup isn't as good as the Euros look at whats left.
