Open bracket or not, for traditional tournament minow like England looking past another small team like Sweden, and then looking past a far mose skilled Croatia is definition of delusional hysteria. I mean, England being on that side is a part of the reason it’s an open bracket.

Kane is the modern day Shearer, one of the best.

Lukaku is nowhere near that level. Lukaku has strength and pace. Without that he's ****ed. His first touch is terrible. Man Utd fans are blind.

I ****ing hate Kane but you can't knock his ability as a striker. He's literally ready made perfect fit for when Benzema ****s off from RM. Next summer probably.

When Lukaku is at his absolute best he’s excellent but it’s so rare that even if he’s mentally up for the one or two biggest games of his life there’s no guarantee he’ll be any good. Kane at his best is arguably not as good (and that’s debatable) but he’s the far more consistent.

And you're as dull a **** as HIAG for falling for it.

Talking of blindness though, if none of you can see the genuine threat Lukaku gives and, in your case, still laud utter dogshite like Firmino, then you're off your head.

    I’d agree with that.

    Except Kane is going nowhere.

It must be ****ing destroying the scousers that Salah, Firmino, the almighty Coutinho and Van Plonk are all gonna be at home watching Pogba and Red Rom fight it out for a place in the World Cup Final.

The chances are very high that one of those two boys will lift that World Cup trophy as well.

It’s actually great. I wish they actually all got eliminated earlier, getting even more rest for the upcoming season.

Honestly, I like watching but I have zero emotional investment in international tournaments and would prefer Liverpool players focus solely on the club game.

I agree, I am loving the fact that so few Arsenal players are involved in this world cup thus far. Getting a good preseason and hopefully hit the ground running next season.
