4) Colombia are still pissed at us. Theyre good at chemicals too edit: but seriously, i hope these two come out of this okay too. whatever the reason its complete bullshit to use this stuff.
Not really a bike person, but I am impressed by your green lawn! Is that where you get your forum name from
With regard to the Amesbury poisoning, I do feel for the people of Salisbury who must have thought they had put this behind them. The sooner the source is traced the better....otherwise the whole area will be regarded as suspicious by possible visitors. It is noticeable that the police originally thought it was a dodgy heroin batch...so presumably the victims were drug users. An abandoned syringe perhaps? A man who was with them for most of the day and was there when the male victim collapsed was unaffected.....which must help narrow things down by looking at what he hadn't touched and they did. At least the hospital has experience of treating Novichok poisoning, so hopefully they recover.
Sadly no, the lawn was not included in the purchase price. I can assure you my own lawn is desert material, hens and grass rarely share the same space for long. My forum name is just my family name + saint so rather unimaginative really. Would like to know how some on here chose their forum name though. Oh and back to the bike my wife has pointed out I've really picked a bad time to be riding around on a Russian bike, we await the knock at the door.
Press in the hotel I work in saying they picked something up in Elizabeth gardens, which is where most people, including myself take their children.
Yes, that’s what was mentioned on the news last night. If the person or persons who made the attempt on the Skripals had dropped a container or whatever there, it would fit, as apparently Novichok isn’t easily dispersed by water, and it’s only a relatively short walk from Zizzi’s in Castle Street to Lizzie Gardens.
True but they were poisoned at their home not in town, so it seems strange that something turned up in lizzie gardens. we shall see.
Yes I’d forgotten that. Their house was in Christie Miller Road up off Highbury Avenue wasn’t it? That’s a fair step from Lizzie Gardens as you say. There’s obviously a lot more to come out of the woodwork!
No need for getting personal though, you can have a discussion without it. Also, please continue the discussion in here and leave the transfer thread to transfers.
I have absolutely no intention of being friendly with anyone who holds his views and straw mans the debate around toxic male behaviours towards women. Noted on the thread choice. I'm done with it though.
Grew up in Andover, parents moved to Wilton, my elder 2 children grew up in Salisbury, plus loads of friends in Salisbury city and surrounding area. Nearly got a job at the old Salisbury General Hospital too (just over the road from Lizzie Gardens!). Edit: also worked at Tisbury Printing Works in Salt Lane, and at Salisbury Tech.
Salisbury College of Art and Technology? Bullied into doing several years there part time 74-81, mad biology teacher, great motorcycle (sorry I'm a bit fixated at present) park 'round the back. I fell in love/lust with a ducati 250 owner, she and the bike were far out of my league. Used to love the late night ride back to Southampton though. Saw the Strawbs in St Edmunds church (as it was still called) around 1981, classic stuff framed against the stained glass windows.
That’s the one! Edit: I worked there 74-75 as a lab technician in the Chemistry department so we overlap a bit. Did you ever eat in the Catering Dept restaurant, staffed by students? Fab food and really cheap!
Rhino poachers get eaten by lions. Now that's what I call poetic justice. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-44728507
I went to Marwell Zoo earlier on . I saw what I thought was an crusty roll in the corner . I said What is that ? The attendant said " Thats Bread in Captivity "
On the tranfer thread assault stuff there is no point debating people with such old age views. I'll just be ignoring people from now on. I hardly post here anyways, so probably a good thing
Well that’s frustrating/funny. Was just going back through some old email messages - noticed I was, in 2013, talking to a new band about management. Some bunch called Royal Blood....
