Woohoo. The gang is back together. Grujik, Windass and a mistery striker and the job is done, all bar the selling!
While agreeing he is a good addition to the squad £1.75m seems steep for a 31 year old who wasn't wanted by his parent club last season. £750k to £1m would be the top end of his value for me.
The squad can only hold 25 players (as I understand it). Does this infer Gunner is gone? The sooner City resolve the futures of eg Tomlin, Bogle, Pilks, Healey, K and M Harris, Fred etc the better so NW can get his 25 men in place; and of course 3 are keepers, so that’s in effect 2 players for each position. IMO City do need something extra in central midfield. I really hope City make another signing in this area. It must be difficult to find the right person for the right price. What happened to the Gosling rumour?
Probably turned into a goose. We still need quality in the middle of the park - Bryson has the engine and will run all day. Need a cross between him and Tomlin.
I really like Bryson, I can't believe there are people on other forums saying we shouldnt sign him. He battled for everything last year, I think I only saw him have one "off" game.
Interesting turn of events. City saying bryson not a priority. https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport...rdiff-city-distance-themselves-craig-14868523
or are they still waiting for gunnar to make a decision and the Grujic situation to pan out. Perhaps they want 2 of the 3 and Bryson is last in line. Personally I'd bin gunnar off. Becoming injury prone and evidently not committed to the cause. Grujic, Ralls, Bryson, Patterson and Damour. Sorted.
Gunnar became a free agent on 1st July, I wouldn't offer him a contract. I much prefer Bryson. Also, did I read some where that Healey was going to Newport?
Not seen anything Dai. It would make sense for all though as Healey is unlikely to see much, if any, game time with us. Purse strings at Newport tighter than a duck's ar$e might be a problem.
part fund his wages to go there on loan, score a few goals to get his face known again, then sell him in January for a few hundred thousand.
