Restaurant bar Luv, it had not been open for a few years so it was in a bit of a state. Reckon it’ll take two months to get up to opening standard.
It’ll be mainly Thai food with live acoustic music. The expats tend to come out early and go home around 5 pm. The Thais tend to come out after 6pm.
Looks amazing mate. Big new venture. You gonna work there or just employ some locals to do the grafting ?
Mainly just guiding them through the business although I will be working alongside the Thai chef when busy.
Looks like a really exciting project mate. I'm at a bit of a crossroads with my business. It's probably ready to expand, but to do so it will need some serious investment (new premises, new equipment, staff etc) I don't have the capital to throw at it and I'm reluctant to borrow big bucks. Also I quite like it that it's just me, myself and I running it all. It doesn't make huge money, but it allows me so much freedom and that is worth a lot to me.
I know what you mean, whether to expand or not is the defining moment of any business. All I can say is follow your gut feelings as only you know your market. Although if you decide not to franchising can open up opportunities.
i would out of curiosity but i'm not a vegan so won't need it. You ship national though? Got a vegan friend up north
