Yeah I think he realised it was a **** dive and felt silly. It's bad when you see big defenders doing it.

In general I think we stooped to their level too easily. I don't know why players can't just let it play out in their favour when the opposition are acting up like that, instead of getting sucked into daft skirmishes and stuff.

    Football is beyond being ****ed.

Every bastard fouls, cheats and connives. Even we do it now, the English have been dragged down to a level which is beneath us.

It appears that you either get with the programme or **** off home as ‘ a loser’ with your head ( very naively) held high in moral indignation.

    You won’t be remembered.

Look at Neymar and Brazil as the prime example of what it has become.

    It’s a mess.

Really pleased for Pickford after his World class save was well and truly shat on by their goal moments later.

    Thoughts from tonight;
    • a lot of personal family stuff going on is great preparation to put football in perspective and so enjoy it
    • I'm Harry M's biggest critic, but he was faultless tonight
    • Our first real test and we tried to **** up
    • Harry Kane is clever as ****
    • After it got niggly, did we see Linyard, Sterling or Ali again?

Have a look at the comments on online newspapers sites. Then join the real world after reading the sad negative twats on there and have a go at them, not the person who points these people out.

What's a perogative? Is it the same as a prerogative?

The things you do sometimes to watch a game of football. I travelled by motorbike for one hour to get to the nearest cafe that was showing the game. Bearing in mind here it started at 1 am, so I left the house at 11.30pm. Of cause it had to go to extra time, so finally got back home at 5.30 am soaking wet, as were hit with a thunderstorm on the way back. At least the rain and noise kept me awake.

The game, I thought England were the better side for the most part, without really creating any clear-cut chances.

Columbia was a dirt set of twats, and credit to England for at least staying on the right side of the line, just.

I thought the game changed bring Dier on, it was a Steve Bruce tactic, take off an attacking midfielder and bring on a defensive one. This IMO was a mistake, and it meant England started to sit back and protect the 1-0 which is dangerous and so it proved to be.

The first half of extra time I thought there was only one team going to win this, and that was Columbia, we just looked out on our feet. However credit to them they got the better of the 2nd half of extra time and at least looked if they were trying to win it.

Great, we won the shootout, I could go home happy having stayed up most of the night. I thought Big Harry had a very good game and was up there for MOTM.

Bring on Sweden, at least this game is at a more sociable hour, kicks off at 9 pm here.

You're right, it is getting more like professional wrestling, 3 falls, 2 submissions and a knockout.

Any notice that we where less if an attacking force when Sterling went off. Not his biggest fan but he kept em busy.
