    Was watching it round a mates in Upper Shirley. As soon as the final whistle went after extra time I left the house and legged it to the common.

    Sat there for 15 minutes with my fingers in my ears. Just as I plucked up the bravery to turn on my phone, I heard an almighty cheer from the houses nearby...

    ...and I knew.

    I'm just coming around to the reality, we are in Q/F of the WC and there is no Holland, Portugal, Italy, Spain, Argentina or Germany left in the competition! and we are playing in Europe (where Brazil hardly ever do well)..this is the 2015/16 PL season in tournament form.

    Haha! You guys are pretty jazzed, eh? Happy for you guys.

    Kane is a great captain. Maybe the remaining player in the WC I would most want on my side. Draw looks good. No team has really looked all that impressive to me. Belgium to me looks the most dangerous but then the tend to go conservative and sleepwalk through halves. So yeah, there’s a decent chance.
