A well oiled defence concedes few goals. A defence all over the shop concedes goals. It was clear to me last year that we drew too many. we won 21, drew 12 and so lost 5. Unless he's Superman then I'd say no another keeper wouldn't have done better. Keeper wasn't at fault for most of those - as your analysis shows. A losing game is very rarely one players fault. It's a team game and so speaks for itself that all parts need to play to perfection to achieve a perfect result. The game isn't perfect, teams aren't perfect, as close to perfect is dreamland but once in a while isn't good enough either.
exactly. I think we all agree that we won't win stuff with him but its not like you can specifically point to too many games like the CL final as to why. Its just general jesus he's a dodgy one feeling just watching him.
