I think we’ve been ok, look comfortable in possession for the first time since.....well, I can’t remember. I like it that we have a couple of defenders who can bring the ball forward without ****ting themselves. Colombia are niggly and nasty, but their central defenders are good, and we have to find a way round them. Sterling......aaagh. Why doesn’t he just run at defenders with pace? We know he can be terrifying, but for England it just doesn’t happen. Lingard, Trippier, Kane again the real deal. Though seeing Kane drop incredibly deep to pick the ball up is a bit worrying, though the TV doesn’t show what’s going on up front. Keep doing the same thing, it’ll come. They will get a red soon enough.
nope. He should have got a red by the book. Seen refs bottle it and it'd be a soft red (at least nut him properly). One of those from a neutral where you can understand it being given or not given

I see Colombia has Esteban Cambiasso in their coaching staff. He knows a trick or two. You should not be surprised to see every trick in the book being utilised by them
Have to say that Southgate has these blokes drilled perfectly for a whole variety of dead ball routines, the movement is bewildering, a good chance or a penalty is pretty likely. These Colombians need to see a red.
