he will be sold im 100% sure.... then we will bring in Watt.... its sad and we are being lied too..but it will happen.
i dont think its 100%. Infact i doubt we will sell him which wont disappoint me but i'd still rather we did sell him. But then we probs shoulda signed mendy in hindsight if we do sell
The Leeds Management have always said they like to do business behind closed doors, so will be rightly hacked off if this is true. I agree with 95% of the comments above... Rightly or wrongly, every player has his price and Gradel is no exception. The question is not if he goes, but who will SG bring to strengthen the first team. This is a CRITICAL TIME and the manager and Chairman will show their intent about our squad and this seasons' aspirations... 1> Sell Gradel and Bring in two top class defenders and hopefully another Clayton prospect. (re-invest) 2> Sell Gradel and do diddly squat. Say we were beaten to targets' signatures, moan about stuff, injuries and suspensions and end up bottom half of the table. (Squirrel the cash away on "operating costs") 3> Tell Sochaux to **** off for putting this out in the open. Bring in a defender and plod on. T-minus 32 hours.... then we'll know what the intent for the season is.
If it's good business, then 1. We have to get good quality defenders in and if Nunez can deliver.... There's always the academy players coming through. (you'll never win anything with kids!) Would accept 3 but hey-ho it's probably going to be option 2 from KB!
The bid has been rejected. It was for £2m and Leeds United have this afternoon rejected the bid. The Sun: LEEDS UNITED are bracing themselves for further bids for in-demand winger Max Gradel after rejecting Sochaux's £2million offer. The Ivory Coast international, 23, is out of contract next summer and has yet to agree a new deal with the Whites. Gradel is keen on a return to France where he grew up and could seal a move before the transfer window shuts. West Ham and Fulham have also shown an interest this summer but Sochaux are out of the race after Leeds turned down their approach. Sochaux chairman Alexandre Lacombe said: "We haven't had a positive reply on the offer we made. This case is closed now."
West Ham allegedly bid 2.5m and had that rejected didn't they? Are Sochaux's management incapable of doing the basic research required to ascertain that fact?
yes that is what i would say. Im just hoping it isnt 2 or KB says tht we didnt have enough time to spend it so we will wait until the next window and then he hopes that all the fans forget about it...
Looks like it will take over 3.5 to get him which i think would be a fair enough price coz face it he is more than liely gonna be sold!!
