Stoke were responsible for 30% (25 of 82) of the PL goalscoring chances created from throw-ins in 2010-11.

Oh Dear! Your post states you are constantly in the top half of the Premier League. What does constantly mean to you folk in little old Stoke?

Let's give the guy a break - we would kill for either of our teams to be in Stoke's position... in the championship, never mind the Prem, and playing in Europe (by default or otherwise) is a good place to be!!!!

Nah! Can’t let him off I’m afraid, he’s a dickhead!
Maybe we’d like to be in the Prem but not the way Stoke do things, they’re the boil on the arse of Premier League football.

Okay, so Stoke are apparently looking at Gradel? Don't think so!! The Oatcakes aren't all bad really. Went to the Britannia a couple of seasons ago and watched them PASS West Ham off the park in a 2-1 win!! I was really surprised....then again we did the same a couple of weeks ago. If we scored twenty goals a season from long throws I'd be very happy thanks.

Sorry, I have to disagree; I saw them against Chelsea in the nil all draw at the start of the season. It was embarrassing to watch. They had no ambition to attack unless it was from a long throw.

As for passing round West Ham, that was brave of them to string a few passes together against relegation fodder.

Notice that I posted this after I knew Gradel was going, I stick to my quote both are wingers are better than Pennant (thats Pennant not Pennnent as you spelt it thicko)

Nunez, Snodgrass, Sam are all better than Pennant

One game against another hoofball team, one of you had to try passing the ball!!

You asked if he was any good as a bench warmer, which I read as we'll take (which you're not) one of your best players but he wont be good enough to start for our first team.

I'm still not convinced you're more than a pub team who've got lucky. You'll eventually find your true place in the lower divisions. Enjoy while you can!
