Another great day of W/C football. Neymar's writhing was hilarious,I felt like shouting encore.

 

Much as I love a bit of jingoistic patriotism, I can't help but think that tonight's is hopelessly misguided

Or am I missing something ? I think this England team is very average, at best. A weak goalkeeper, a shaky back 4, and uninventive and stodgy captain/midfield, and only Harry Kane and his mouthful of marbles to actually win us a game...

 

Looking at it on the bright side, the W/C has (almost) taken our minds off the takeover. England have a manager who doesn't have Kane taking corner kicks. And there seems to be a good spirit in the England camp. On the other hand Butland is unproven in this type of environment, and although England have a decent team, they don't have a strong bench, as was shown in the last game. The Belgium v Brazil game should be a cracker.
