There’s probably a reason for that....

They look like they cost about a fiver from Matalan.

Got to be honest I’ve never ****ing heard of them.

Quick question for all of you, at what age does wearing decent trabs (aside from playing sport etc) become a bit sad? I’m torn.

I'm 45 and I've started to consider whether I should buy certain things but also don't want to look a complete ****. It's difficult.

I wear Airmax. No idea if their still fashionable, but simply they’re the most comfortable trainers I’ve ever bought.

Yes but at what age do you start wearing a flat cap with your Nike's?

    Never!

If you think you’re old, you are old.

Keep active. Make mind and body work, and forget what the calendar tells you.

I tend to wear retro Adidas, but as the years tick by I’ve started to wonder if I look a bit of ****, and should I maybe retreat to the safe ground of shoes.....

    Taken that step. <laugh>

I've always been a bit of a scruff and have worn surf and skate t shirts, jeans and trainers, hoodies etc. I don't know if I should grow up a bit but I still see people my age wearing Rocksalt and Billabong stuff.

    New Balance trainers for me.

I agree with NSIS that age is just a number, and it’s about how you feel.

It’s about looking after yourself. Nobody who doesn’t know me would believe I’m as old as I am.
