Chuffed to bits with that signing. I hope he will be played as a wing back, that would be amazing. He's so good at going forward though, he might be used as a Right Winger. I hope not, because then there's no point in Marshall, Hernandez etc.
Very upbeat view about what Pukki will bring to our play next season. https://soccersouls.com/2018/07/03/...nt-piece-of-business-by-signing-17-goal-star/ The unselfish assists for other players will make quite a change from Oliveira
Some Passlack info here which is interesting. Over a year old but shows how highly he's been rated. https://www.uefa.com/uefachampionsleague/news/newsid=2428399.html
Changing topic slightly - Naismith goes back to Hearts on a season long loan and we have to pay him £1.5M for the privilege!!! When you look at the bigger picture though AN signed both him and JM in the same window - he made a loss of £7M on Naismith and a profit of around £14M on JM. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/footbal...ortsound&ns_source=twitter&ns_mchannel=social
Back on track and this tweet sums up my thoughts exactly - SW certainly seems to be #earninghiscorn Edit - All I can say is that I am getting quite excited at seeing how DF gets all these players to play together and HOPEFULLY scoring more goals and conceding fewer.
I really wasn't expecting that many incoming names this window. I was certain the squad would be consolidated with perhaps just the strikeforce seen to plus some "names for the future". You could realistically add McLean to the list plus those stepping up to the 1st team and we've got some exciting attacking options. Assuming we can keep hold of Lewis I'm pretty pleased with the look of the defence too. Perhaps a depth question there plus still the ? over whether Remi will be 1st No.1 I hope he gets the chance personally.
Whilst I believe he will be our number 1 this season, I don't think we can read too much into the kit launch photos, he is realistically the only keeper currently on our books that could be used. Use McGoven and it looks nailed on he isn't going to get a chance and for what, a player who definitely won't be getting the No.1 shirt. Its certainly not nailed on, there seemed plenty of speculation about possible incoming keepers, so I think we may yet see a twist in the keeping dept. Bah!
The bitterness in this article: https://www.londonnewsonline.co.uk/...t-of-water-with-huge-offer-for-wolves-winger/
The author needs a new calculator!! JM is £20M plus 'addns' and at least 10% of that is going to Coventry!!
