That is what i wondered, as i drive up and down the m62/a63 every day. i can only think they might have cut across at the slip road for the m18 if they had missed it, as i think that is near to where it sadly happened. Cars just dont go off a straight road with nothing else involved even with a blowout. I guess time will tell but the amount of accidents over the last week has been unbelievable.
It’s possible if they were using a phone whilst driving. You see all sorts on the road by drivers putting lives at risk.
The fella at Great Heck just fell asleep and woke up half way down the railway embankment. All sorts of ways people can veer off a road in seemingly safe conditions.
Is that the one which caused the train to crash killing people on it? There was bit more to that then the car driver just falling asleep. He'd been up all night on the internet chatting to a woman hadn't he. Thought he got put away for it.
Indeed. The point being a seemingly safe road can be lethal, depending on the driver’s condition or state of mind.
