Morning all. Post op painkillers and anti inflammatory pills yet to kick in this morning. Small potatoes compared with some of the life threatening conditions some of you and yours are going through, but bloody painful all the same. Awkward with one hand out of action, souped up sling, bandaged and stitched... back at work in a couple of weeks so shouldn't get too stir crazy. Seems to be some sort of football tournament on the telly to help keep me amused....
Think I missed what ails you Fez. Anyway my sympathies are with you and hope you recover quickly and well. p.s. on second thoughts, it was not you who had a run in with a ladder was it?
I hope you can get out playing around soon (with the wife of course ) i had to call off a game then a week late i had trouble walking from cart to ball and cart to green but that life and COPD
HELP im planing my next trip to the uk when do SKY post there games as im trying to line up 4 games from the 15th Sept to the 6th oct and I dont want the TV stopping me going to games please help if you know
Last year August and September games were announced on 10th July; October and November games announced on 11th August. We are told to expect similar dates this year.
Thank you so much last season away games was not so bad but we have 2 in London so if you can get extras yes please I have never used Dave Message as i want to use him as a last result I dont care what anyone says about you are a nice guy
The wife gives me at least eleven shots. She plays the game properly. I have my champagne moments but usually have two or three nightmare holes... I do well at stableford, poorly at stroke play. Her preference is match play. A lot of stuff will be up for sale if it doesn't work.
I haven't been to many away games recently so hopefully I still qualify for access, we will see. Brian, please don't spoil my nasty Tory reputation.
I don't plan on going to many away games this season as my daughter works most weekends but I still have a decent attendance record over the last few years. If any of you are stuck for away tickets please PM me and I will try to obtain them for you if I can. (Brian priority) I know I don't qualify for games with really small allocations like Bournemouth but I think I do for most, hopefully.
Good morning all from an overcast Jersey. I'm off work today as I had more seizures on Sunday. Luckily these weren't as bad as 3 weeks ago, so I wasn't hospitalised this time. My GP is writing to/emailing the consultant and neurology nurse, requesting that they contact me directly. I've been requesting a change in my medication for a while as I think that it's ridiculous that I'm taking 12 tablets a day. I appreciate that there is a greater risk of having more seizures while my body adjusts if my medication is changed, and if it does happen, it probably won't start until after my next appointment with the neurology nurse, which is, by a strange coincidence, in 3 weeks time.
Morning all from a comfortable temperature in rural France, with a high of 28°C expected. My two water butts that were close to empty are now half full again after the storm on Sunday night. I hope that everyone who is suffering from health problems can recover well, or get treatment that makes life better.
Morning all, a lovely morning to be out and about. A comfortable temperature, but a fresh feeling, even if there is no breeze. The half a dozen wind turbines I passed on the way to the bakers were not turning, just idly sitting there, and to think I pay a subsidy every day they don't produce anything. The café des sports has erected a giant cover in the public car park with long tables and benches underneath. They are having a musical evening Friday with a supper of fish and chips all for €10.50. Tempted, but those benches look hard.
My time outside has come to an abrupt halt. The clouds have rolled in, heavy spots of rain have just started to fall, and the thunder with lightening has been getting ever nearer. Might not have to do any watering tonight.
