All those visitors, a castle and a cathedral. And a House Of Fraser. A city which was there centuries before Wyke. The largest city outside of London at the time of William the Conqueror and for a long time after.
And, it is the most northern of the top 10 of warmest places in England.

Two-time promotion-winner Craig ***an has returned for a third spell with Hull City after taking on a coaching role in the club’s academy.

***an, who made 151 appearances for the Tigers, is expected to take charge of the under-16s after previously working in the youth ranks of Southend United.

The 35-year-old also worked for the EDSV Academy based in Saint Albans last season and is a holder of the UEFA A licence.

That may be Nige’s replacement sorted early for when he’s made the scapegoat.

A case of multitasking for ***an then?

Isn't he on the high powered executive committee, pouncing about regarding the club badge?

Got to be better than some of the other academy heads. Even in our own leagues the scouting network is a ****ing shambles.

Couldn't stand him as a player.
Turned out to be a decent commentator.
Good luck to him for taking a role like this. Willing to work his way up.

They haven't sold many in Brid, I know that,
Norwich is a one club city. No RL clubs to compete with and a healthy local football rivalry with Ipswich. To compare them with Hull City is an unfair comparison.

    No rugby league clubs?

Have you never heard of the Norwich City Saxons?

    No, me neither.

I would say a larger percentage of season ticket holders have renewed in Brid than Hull. In fact take away season ticket holders from East Yorkshire and things would look poor indeed.
A smaller population in Norwich. Ipswich isn't a lot further from Norwich than Leeds is from Hull. Don'tvwe have a rivalry with them? We do have one thing in common with Leeds, the only two cities which had two rugby clubs long before they got round to having a football club.

Hull does have one thing in common with Norwich, they are both high up the list of fast food shops. The healthier East Riding is way down tbe list.

A lot of people round the country are unaware of the "world famous" rugby clubs in Hull.

Liverpool and Manchester both had rugby clubs in the 1860s.

Bradford converted to football from rugby in 1903.

    Sunderland rugby founded 1873.

I can think of two who might . The retired couple who bought my late mother's house were from Norwich and were season ticket holders and intended carrying on going back to see them.

They didn't have two rugby clubs.

Any records in the RL for Sunderland RLFC?

    I shouldn't think so. It's a Rugby Union town.

So, they aren't relevant to Hull having not one, but two rugby league clubs before they had a football club?

The best supported rugby club for years has been Leicester Tigers but it had no effect on Leicester City's gates.
