Bus and Lorry near us today. 2 dead, 12 injured. On the road I travel to work on too, quite often seen ******ed overtaking on it, not that's likely to be the cause of this accident but I don't get why people think driving like ****s will get them to their destination any quicker. This from the photos look like the lorry decided he could pull out, and he shouldn't have. Meanwhile a bus driver and a 70 year old fella are dead.
Backing up past South Cave going toward the M62. Dont know if this was were the original accident was... In saw one this morning near Junction 35. Got there a minute after it happened, thankfully on the opposite carriage way going toward the M18. Lorry with a VW Golf sideways on to it..!!!
This is the accident I was talking about. Doesn’t sound very good. I think there’s been 2 air ambulance collections.
Observed some idiot coming down Bev Road the other day near to Hall Road Tesco doing about 80, definitely needs a camera there. Not enough coppers on the road. Licence for the meatheads to get the pedal to the metal.
Closed most of the morning East bound fort accident investigation between 36-37 tail back back toward Selby at 34... not sure about the westbound carriageway.,
A63 Eastbound has been closed since 1... than fully I managed to get back through Broomfleet etc... but its grid lock out there. Apparently a lorry and a biker... enough said! Seems there were major delays this morning too,., One road in, one road out recipe = disaster..
Terrible one yesterday, at junction 35 (half way between the M18 and Goole), a three year old boy died at the scene.
There’s been some shockers in a very short period of time locally. 27 year old motorcyclist killed on Friday an the A63 near South Cave.
Its become something of a bad stretch. A combination of increased traffic, two lanes (A63) no hard shoulder A63, and pour bad driving..
Bad enough getting over anyone dying in something like that. How the hell would you get over a young child dying? Terrible.
It seems a rather odd one as well, there was no other vehicle involved, it just drove straight off the motorway into a tree.
The road has been nasty for many years. A good mate of mine got killed on his motorbike at Melton coming home on Christmas leave from the Army, and that was many years ago.
