it depends on the player for sure. you could tell some rarely if ever took pens. the best takers have the same run up whichever side they hit it and can just close the foot off to roll it other side. They know where it's going but can change it if the keeper looks like he is going down early in the right direction. then the best keepers can stand up and force player to take good pen a bad keeper can make a lot of very average pens look good. there was at least two decent to good pens saved by Croatian keeper. so he mad big difference.
behave. you know full well walkers issues. pace v a player running at you is totally different than losing your man and letting him have a header.
The way opening up to the final? Knowing England, they’ll fall at the first hurdle: Colombia. Who every one it seems from fans, media and even players are underestimating.
Having watched both teams I think its fair to say without james colombia are firmly mid teir team. England need to be positive but they are not running into a meat grinder here with thier eyes closed. My prediction preworld cup was england v polnad/colombia and its come to pass. I also predicted the first decent team england meet would beat them... with whats gone on this is a huge huge opportunity and imo bottle and work ethic/positivity will win the day. If england lack any of those they will get beat. stones, maguire, walker... it screams play on the front foot
Only thing that favours Colombia is the weather, we are better in every other department and should batter them. I reckon we'll lose...

NO, columbia stand in the way of FIRST obstacle they have to overcome. British media at its finest lol

Had a look at that dribs and confused as **** who the players are who have lost value lol. If it's Messi and Ronaldo then they (whoever made up that) need a long hard look at themselves as they are talking ****e.
Crazy, as usual. Build 'em up, knock 'em down. They cant even make sense: My understanding of that phrase is that it refers to the fact that the Euros were being held in England, the birthplace of the modern game, not that we were going to win it.
Me too. I don't think WC performance damages players reputations, if anything it makes some shine bright, clubs buy them based on that only to be disappointed. I noticed on that link, another link saying England have chosen their first 5 penalty takers. Guesses anyone??
