Yeah but it is what it is.

If Maguire is exposed to shaqiri by young for example it's a bad bad situation.

    It's Mbappe v rojo bad <laugh>

Anyway falcao up first, that's then only fame that matters.

England need to start like they did v Tunisia but must work hard for 90. Thst press can work. No England player can create much so making international sides uncomfortable and having no time imo can work... if you have the bottle.

Some of the England teams from days gone by... like 2006... they'd kill for this chance.

Watch Denmark here they are not really pressing, just dropping off and neither are Croatia.

I knows it's hot and that but England need to work . The England game is on at 7pm as well so should at least be cooler.

Yet another thing falling England's way.

They are a young team so should have the energy to close down with intensity.

    So of the usual suspects.

    Italy
    Holland
    Argentina
    Germany
    Spain

And not at 1/4 final stages.

Knowing England's luck, Brazil will go out next round, you'll win it and then you'll all whinge yhat you didn't have to beat anyone to do it lol.

Yeah for me it's about belief and the question mark has to be what thry did v Tunisia.

Cannot go into those shells. Sterling and lingard. Cannot afford to indulge alli ego if not fit.

Alli or lotus cheek is a call that might decide England's fate

He's been out for a friends birthday all day. He says he needs toilet but can't go and it's causing him done pain, basically, he's not been going properly all day and just desperately needs a wee.

    Belgium?

    Croatia?

    France?

    Uruguay?

There's 3 former winners there.. admittedly Uruguay is a stretch there but still.

The thing is that England have a run to the sf that they ought to be comfortable with... but so did Spain.

Kane needs prob only one or two more goals for golden boot as well... everything is set up to get there.

The opponent in the other half of draw is hard to call.

France or Uruguay v Brazil or Belgium.... all strong strong teams.

Swiss or England v Croatia or Russia.

The thing is a sf v Russia might happen <laugh>... I'd bet putin unleashes his hooligans and blames England to get through

None of those teams have looked perfect and all play a game England is familiar with.... and mentally won't be terrified of. Brazil's the only one that should frighten you lot before a balls kicked ...and not by a huge lot.

    Mocks???

He's in better shape than the vast majority of England fans that go to games

He needs to spend less time trying to be funny, Germans are crap at that, and more time looking at the lady to his Left

So if Maguire is exposed by a mistake from young, it’s Maguire fault?

Or that England don’t produce players good rbough

    Sotwo well organised sides here.

Play is very narrow but also not much pressure applied high up, only once opponent comes into own half.

Young will be up the pitch. He is wing back and only width on left so it's inevitable Maguire will have to defend left back channel on his own at some point.

If anything it's Southgate error cos tbh if I was analysing England as an opponent I would be putting my counter attack on this side as Maguire is slow with no left foot.. I would try drive at that area.

Wouldn't try go at the right ride of England as walker has the pace to cope. I'd rather pull the forward out into walker for the inevitable cross from the right.

The fact is Maguire is a big classic English cb. If teams are crossing he is happy heading but pull him outbof middle and he is in trouble.

Sane as walker. He is not a cb so will be beaten round the back and in the air.
