I said "Vamos España" If they go out so be it, as they have not been brilliant yet. But to back a team as negative as the Russians when there are better and more entertaining teams still in the tournament seems ridiculous!!

 

And Russia deserve to beat Spain? Do yourself a favour!!

Probably. And then everyone willl fap themselves into a frenzy about the brilliant Spain and how much possession they had and how many passes they made etc. completely ignoring it's about as enjoyable as a dose of the clap.

 

TBF to Ides, Russia have been playing for penalties from minute 1. If they hadn't got a pen I don't think they would have scored.

With the talent at each team's disposal, Russia are not the negative team here.

 

I still wouldn´t rule out Uruguay. Very functional, well organised, considerable skill and two brilliant strikers.

 

Disgraceful that one of these is a former world champion... we know Russia are a bit **** but no excuses for Spain who are dire.

 

Whoever goes through in this tie will get their asses kicked by Croatia.

 

Wait hang on, now you're bigging up Uruguay after moaning about styles of play?
