you mean ackworth's statement that we've bid for tubbs wasn't correct - shocking! would still like a striker to come in especially if Benno goes, but it would probably be a loan move now
SCA the Tubbs rumour was started by SkySports (whilst they are extremely unreliable, it wasn't Acworth starting the rumour). I'd like to see us sign a young, pacy striker (like Eccleston) if Benno goes. But I won't be too fussed if Benno stays and we stick with the four.
The story around here in Crawley, is that offers are on the table for Tubbs? He's in last year of his contract having only signed a 2 year deal, and if remember back to January he said he'd ask Crawley to let him leave if a big club came in. i wouldn't be surprised if Palace are in for him but keeping it quiet. An offer has been tabled by bournemouth for Benno i read on Vital football, after they missed out of ryan Lowe who Sheff Weds have signed for £500k!

Yeah I meant someone with the same style of play as Eccleston, there's no chance he would want to come back here (considering his tweets last season), and I had a feeling a team in the higher divisions would be after him (though I am suprised to hear Everton).

One rumour thats not been mentioned since beginning August is francis to Bournemouth. After failing to agree terms with Bournemouth , just found an article on Vital Football that he may have been used or could be used in a potential 500k bid for Danny Ings. But thats all can find on Francis, not much on the guy, likely to be a loan....to Bradford
Sorry it was more a post to say that all interest has gone quiet on Francis and that a loan deal is most likely. Danny Ings has indeed signed for Burnley

DVDDD - good to see you back on here. All is well for you, I hope, presume...? I hope Lowe is NOT going to the Owls. That would be a great shame. I wanted him at The Valley. Eccles would never come back. He was treated appallingly last season.
