The worry is that he sickens of it and packs it in. That would be a horrendous outcome. Just because a few morons think we should have had an extra signing on their schedule, not the SAFC's, not the selling club's or the players.

Some ****ing after hours office cleaner demanding that they appease him as he's the expert on where we should be.

Jack Ross has bolstered his Sunderland ranks with the signing of defender Tom Flanagan, and the Black Cats are hopeful that a deal for Scotland midfielder Dylan McGeouch could follow.

Flanagan became the fourth signing of the summer yesterday after completing a medical at the Academy of Light.

The 26-year-old is a centre-back by nature, but can play anywhere across the back four.

He was a team-mate of new Sunderland keeper Jon McLaughlin when Burton Albion won promotion from League One in 2015/16 and went on to be a pivotal part of their unlikely Championship survival in the following campaign.

He made 27 appearances last season, but was made available for transfer as Burton boss Nigel Clough makes cuts to his playing budget following relegation back to the third tier.

After the departures of John O’Shea and Marc Wilson, with Lamine Kone and Bryan Oviedo likely to follow, Ross has been determined to bolster a backline that was padded out with loan signings last season.

With Adam Matthews and Donald Love seemingly set to stay, Flanagan will predominantly feature at the heart of defence where Alim Ozturk has already been signed.

Ross, however, said that Flanagan’s versatility, as well as his League One experience, was the reason that he was keen to do a deal.

Ross said: “First and foremost, I think he’s at an age, and at a stage in his career, where he feels that he’s not quite achieved what he can do given his ability, so this is an opportunity for him to reach his potential.

“He can help us to improve as a team, and beyond that, what he gives me as a manager is really good versatility, because he can play anywhere across the back four, which will be important as the season goes on. I’ve spoken previously about how it’s important to have players who not only have experience in this division but have been successful in it, and he’s gained promotion from the league before, so that will stand us in good stead.”

Sunderland could yet make another addition before the squad fly out for a pre-season training camp in Portugal next week.

Dylan McGeouch is a target for Ross and a deal has moved closer this week. The 25-year-old does have a number of options, including Aberdeen and a new deal at former club Hibernian. However, he held talks on Wearside last week and is keen on the idea of a move south of the border.

Ross has a relatively well stocked midfield in comparison to others areas of his squad, but a replacement for Paddy McNair is required.

There are also major doubts about the futures of Didier Ndong, Lee Cattermole and George Honeyman.

One of the best players in the Scottish Premiership last season, McGeouch’s arrival would be a coup for the Black Cats, and it now seems increasingly likely that they will land him.

Crying? He has a very well constructed argument which has brought way more to the debate than you have. You're just stamping your feet saying People have opinions over and over. You wish you could show this man up. Far too switched on for you, proven by your poor response of calling him a bairn after he's knocked you clean out of the park with pure reason <laugh> You're delusional boy.

That would be a great signing. He's been one of the top players in Scotland over the last couple of seasons.

But you told me to keep my nose out, therefore denying me my opinion, contracting the point you're making entirely and not only that, supporting Disco's point on qualification of opinion where you upfront told me to keep me nose out is you felt it wasn't my place. Oh I've understood everything you've said and watched yourself tie yourself in knots. All because you fancied an argument.

Right, all that aside(this is me being friendly, get with the brutality of this website), give your ****ing head a shake, you're bringing good stuff to the board and completely cancelling it out by being a ****er with some of the finest people ever to post on this board all because you need to bicker. And you are one, a ****er that is, an argumentative one at that, I know, I am one and I can smell us a mile away. Not only that I'll run rings round you all day long cause I'm irritatingly efficient in asserting my ****yness as I'm sure anyone on this board will testify too, I'm a expert nobhead basically. But we're meant to be brothers in arms. We are family. We are Sunderland. Build bridges here, but that pent up aggression that you're harbouring. Take it here https://www.not606.com/forums/newcastle-united.119/ <laugh> Not only will they react to every single word you say, they'll obsess about you and mention you daily. You will consume their mind. May I recommend the Warm Glow thread. Bet you can't/won't read it front to back. I would be quicker reading the ****ing bible. <laugh><cheers>

What aggression? You seem to be confusing aggression with debate and argument.
My argument was that everybody is allowed to have an opinion, because one poster alluded to the fact that some people shouldn't be allowed to have a voice.

I disagreed, so you, yet again, steam in and start banging on that im contradicting myself because of what i wrote. Youre a queer ****er who just likes to argue with me for any old reason over daft ****.

    Get a life sunshine
