Guy that works with me is a big Liverpool fan and refuses to purchase The Sun newspaper due to their coverage of the Hillsborough disaster. Another fella refuses to buy any Apple products, he claims that there are better products out there and that he doesn't want to be seen as one of the growing list of followers. Is there anything you feel so strongly against that you refuse to buy?
Loads of things. Meat, milk, French products, Microsoft products, books from anywhere but a book store or a charity shop, TV licence...
This also because i hate how apple try and force you to use itunes. Also iTunes is **** and so is everything else apple makes.
Anything related to Rupert Murdoch which is why I refuse to get Sky. Apple products as I am a big fan of open source software and I hate the whole Apple philosophy. Also, I refuse to pay for sex as real men don't pay to play.
I don't have strong enough morals to not buy any object/product out of principle... Life's to short to get hung about it!
it's the age old question, who was the first person to milk a cow (and drink the milk) and what the **** did they think they were doing?
Have you ever actually tried it though? Don't knock it till you have As for things I refuse to buy: gifts for my wife and kids.
I once too keen on Apple products and had a creative mp3 player before my 1st iPod. The sound quality was a lot better but I got my iPod to watch video. Got my iphone 4 now and I still think its a top quality phone/media player. I refuse to buy any Mac computers simply because of the price and that I'm just too used to PCs. My Da goes through stages where he stops buying certain national newspapers simply because they don't cover news stories/sporting events in N.Ireland. He tells me he will no longer buy that paper, then a few weeks later asks me to pick him one up.
