    Probably better than both.

Should definitely have gone instead of Rose, who patently is not fit.

Hence, he's being kept out of the side by Young, who definitely is.

He adds more than Young, that’s for sure. Young is as predictable as they come. Run 20 yds down the wing, stop, cut inside. The world and his brother knows what he’s gonna do

He adds **** all mate. Zilch.

At least Young can take a dead ball. There you go, something he adds. Along with defensive ability.

  6. A one-legged Rose is preferable to a fit Young.

    Just my tuppence worth.

You're right, what am I thinking.

Play a left back for an hour and then completely waste a substitution, great idea.

The only thing Rose adds is a left foot and a lack of fitness.

I would mind if he was a decent defender, he isn't.

Ok, you think he adds nothing and should be replaced by an unfit player, who happens to be an unfit Spurs player.

We get it, you've now said it what feels like about 57 times.

What you still haven't clarified is what our left back should 'add', bar the ability to carry out his role as left back. Which Young does.

Looking forward to some pyrotechnics and juggling if Rose does play. Because he himself adds **** all else.

Width, especially as a wingback. I agree that Rose shouldn't have gone. Hasn't played much and doesn't look fit.
Delph would be a better choice than Young, though. At least he's actually got a left foot. He doesn't eat bird ****, either.

Bertrand not making the squad was a bit odd, in my opinion.
Southampton's **** season probably did for him, unfortunately.

An “unfit” Rose drew a number of fouls in dangerous positions yesterday, causing Belgium players to also get booked. Had we had better delivery from those by TAA they could well have resulted in some great chances. Especially when basing it on the deliveries Trippier has been providing.

A “fully fit” Young has done **** all other than slow play down and get spun by Panama wingers. His main asset of dead ball deliveries shows how unnecessary he is as we have Trippier.

A half fit Rose still adds more than Young.

Why he’s even in the squad, let alone starting, Ive no idea.

He’s no great shakes defensively, and adds the total sum of zero going forward.

    Still doesn't answer the question.

Don't worry about it, a couple of other Spurs fans who don't trip out cliches non stop have answered for you.

At least they offer a reason. Other than Rose plays for Spurs.

Mate he thinks Dier is better than Henderson too.

I think there's a lot of club bias going on amongst people, including me <laugh>

But... Henderson pisses over Dier. I'm sure even a Man Utd fan would agree.

It’s no cliche, that’s just your biased interpretation.

I’m saying quite simply that Rose is a far better player. As to his fitness, only Southgafe knows that. But he’s fit enough to play, that’s for sure.

After last night Dier did himself no favours. He’s better than that, but failed to show it. Henderson will keep his place for sure.

None of the team did themselves any favours, not really their fault tbh. It was a dead rubber and far too many changes for anyone to make a proper impact.

Just using Vardy for an example - his world cup is over now, had a shocker.

TAA probably didn't even expect a game so for him it was a bonus, he's the future - still too early for him at this stage.
